The biggest factors are the type of foam, how much of it there is, and how easy your loft is to work in. A small loft with a thin layer of open-cell foam is a very different job to a large, closed-cell warm roof bonded hard to the rafters. - Foam type – closed-cell foam is denser and bonded harder than open-cell, so it takes longer to remove.
- Coverage area – the more of the roof or loft the foam covers, the bigger the job.
