These terms set out the basis on which Go Green Quote introduces you to vetted installers and what each party is, and is not, responsible for. Please read them carefully before submitting an enquiry.
01 About us
Go Green Quote ("we", "our", "us") operates as an independent intermediary service. We are not installers and do not carry out any installation or removal work ourselves. Instead, we connect users of our website ("you", "your") with selected third-party contractors ("Installers") who are qualified and positioned to deliver the services you have expressed interest in.
02 Our role
2.1 Our role is to introduce you to Installers that we believe may be suitable for your requirements.
2.2 We do not provide installation, removal, maintenance or technical services directly. Any contract for works will be formed between you and the Installer, and we are not a party to that contract.
2.3 While we aim to work only with trusted and qualified Installers, we cannot and do not guarantee the quality, safety, or fitness-for-purpose of any work carried out by an Installer.
03 Liability
3.1 We accept no responsibility for any work undertaken by Installers, nor for any issues, disputes, losses, damages or expenses (direct or indirect) arising from the acts, omissions or services of an Installer.
3.2 You agree that any claim, complaint or dispute in relation to services provided by an Installer must be pursued directly with the Installer.
3.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any loss, damage or inconvenience you may suffer as a result of using our service or engaging with an Installer.
04 Data protection & privacy
4.1 We collect, process and store personal data in line with applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
4.2 By submitting your details through our website, you agree that we may:
- Share your information with relevant Installers for the purpose of arranging quotations or services.
- Retain your information securely for internal records and compliance purposes.
- Contact you from time to time about additional products or services we reasonably believe may be relevant to you.
4.3 You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
05 Accuracy of information
5.1 While we aim to ensure that the information we provide is accurate and up-to-date, we cannot guarantee the completeness or accuracy of all content on our website.
5.2 You are responsible for ensuring that any Installer you engage with is suitable for your particular requirements. We encourage you to conduct your own due diligence before entering into a contract.
06 No guarantees
6.1 We make no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding:
- The availability of funding, grants or government schemes.
- The level of savings or efficiency improvements you may achieve by installing products or services recommended by an Installer.
- The suitability of any Installer for your particular property.
07 Limitation of liability
7.1 Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
7.2 Subject to clause 7.1, we shall not be liable for:
- Any loss of profits, revenue, savings or data.
- Any indirect or consequential loss.
- Any loss arising from the acts or omissions of an Installer.
08 Changes to these terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
09 Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
